Zea Marina sits in the historic Pasalimani natural harbour of Piraeus, with 120 superyacht berths in a circular ancient port that has served Athens since the 5th century BC. Originally a Themistoclean military harbour, it is today one of the largest yachting marinas of the Eastern Mediterranean and the principal Greek base for the megayacht fleet repositioning between the western Med and the Aegean. Athens centre is 25 minutes by metro; Athens International Airport is 40 minutes by road.
The Attic pantry is the deepest in Greece. Greek extra virgin olive oil at scale — Koroneiki olive oil from across the country reaches Athens via the Central Markets. Wines: Assyrtiko from Santorini, Agiorgitiko from Nemea, Xinomavro from Naoussa, Moschofilero from Mantinia. Feta PDO and the full Greek cheese repertoire (graviera, kefalotyri, mizithra, manouri, kasseri). Fresh fish from the Piraeus auction (the principal Greek wholesale fish market). Greek specialties: moussaka, pastitsio, dolmades, the meze repertoire, octopus, taramosalata, tzatziki, gyros. The Varvakeios Central Market in Athens supplies the city's restaurants. Specialty providers handle kosher (Athens has a continuous Jewish community), halal, vegan, gluten-free protocols at scale.
Yachting season runs effectively year-round given the repositioning traffic, with charter activity peaking May through October. Zea suppliers handle same-day on fresh items and 24 to 48 hours on full provisioning, plus full charter-start logistics for crews flying into Athens.
