Port de Bandol sits on the Sanary coast west of Toulon, with 40 superyacht berths in the historic resort port that gives the famous Mourvèdre wine appellation its name. Bandol AOC — the only French wine appellation built around the Mourvèdre grape — is produced in the hills directly behind the town, with estates like Domaine Tempier, Château de Pibarnon, Domaine Ott (Château Romassan) and Château Pradeaux defining the appellation internationally.

Bandol AOC reds (Mourvèdre-dominant, with Grenache and Cinsault, aged minimum 18 months in oak), Bandol AOC rosé (the appellation's rosé is one of France's most highly regarded), small allocations of Bandol blanc. Yachting season runs April through October with peaks summer. Bandol suppliers handle same-day on fresh items and 24 to 48 hours on full provisioning. The Bandol estates are routinely visited for cellar tours and direct trade.
