Port de Bormes-les-Mimosas sits between Lavandou and Hyères, with 45 superyacht berths in a modern marina basin beneath the medieval hilltop village of Bormes (one of the most labelled "plus beaux villages" of Provence). The village is famous for its mimosa cultivation — the late-winter mimosa bloom transforms the surrounding hills yellow — and the marina serves charters working between the Iles d'Or and the wider Côte d'Azur.
The pantry is Provençal. Côtes de Provence rosé from the Maures coast appellation, Bandol AOC reds, AOP Var olive oils. Provençal specialties: tapenade, anchoïade, daube provençale, ratatouille. Bormes-specific: mimosa-flavoured patisserie and confectionery (mimosa flowers are edible, used in syrups and pastries during the bloom). Maures massif inland: wild boar, chestnuts, mountain honey, AOC Banon goat cheese. Fresh fish from local boats and the Saint-Laurent-du-Var auction. Iles d'Or access via tender.
Yachting season runs May through September with peaks late July and August. Bormes suppliers handle same-day on fresh items and 24 to 48 hours on full provisioning.
