Puerto Portals sits on the south-west coast of Mallorca, fifteen minutes west of Palma, in the bay that runs between Bendinat and the Tramuntana foothills. The marina is the island's most polished waterfront — restaurants, designer retail and 80 superyacht berths on a single perimeter — and the natural choice for charters working between Palma, Ibiza and the Balearic anchorages of Cabrera and Sa Dragonera. The atmosphere is unmistakably Mallorcan-luxe and the supply network reflects it.
The pantry is identical in origin to Palma's — sobrasada PGI, ensaïmada, Tramuntana olive oil, Mahón sheep cheese — but the supplier mix at Portals leans toward the high end. Wine merchants here carry deep allocations of Binissalem and Pla i Llevant indigenous wines alongside Rioja Gran Reserva, Vega Sicilia and Priorat. Specialty fishmongers source from the Palma auction daily and run direct lines to dorada, scorpionfish and lobster fishermen in the Cabrera reserve. For pastry, charcuterie and ready-to-serve catering, several suppliers maintain on-marina kitchens.
Yachting season runs April through October, with peak demand in July and August and steady shoulder weeks around the late-April Palma Superyacht Show. Fresh deliveries are reliably same-day when ordered before 10h00; bespoke catering, large wine orders and dietary-specific runs are standard at 24 to 48 hours.
