Palmarina Yalıkavak sits on the north-west tip of the Bodrum peninsula, in a sheltered bay framed by olive groves and the steep slopes of the Aegean coast. With 140 superyacht berths sized for the largest yachts working the eastern Mediterranean — including dedicated capacity for vessels over 100m — it has become, since its 2014 expansion, the megayacht reference port of Turkey. The waterfront combines berth infrastructure with a polished retail and restaurant offering not found at any other Turkish marina.
For provisioning, Yalıkavak draws from the full Aegean Turkish pantry. Olive oils from the Bodrum peninsula's own groves and the larger Ayvalık and Edremit zones, fresh fish from the Bodrum auction and the local boats working the offshore islands, Bodrum mandalinası PDO mandarins, mountain herbs from the inland hills, lamb from the Anatolian plateau, and the regional mezze tradition at a level matched by the marina's own restaurants. Wine sourcing is unusually deep: indigenous Turkish whites (Narince) and reds (Öküzgözü, Boğazkere, Kalecik Karası) alongside premium international allocations, since suppliers here serve owners and brokers used to top-tier provenance. Halal protocols are universal; full kosher service, vegan, raw, strict allergen and HACCP-traceable catering are reliable with 48 to 72 hour lead.
Yachting season runs May through October, with July and August at peak. The bay's northern aspect provides shelter from the prevailing meltemi and extends comfortable cruising into October. Suppliers handle same-day fresh and 24 to 48 hour full provisioning.
