ACI Marina Split sits on the eastern edge of the city, ten minutes' walk from the Palace of Diocletian and the Riva waterfront. With 80 superyacht berths and full technical infrastructure, it is the operational hub of central Dalmatia — most charters provisioning for Hvar, Vis, Korčula or the Kornati islands stage their start here. The atmosphere is urban and practical, with the old town's restaurants and markets a short distance from the pontoons. Split's food culture leans Dalmatian-continental: cured pršut from Drniš, sheep cheese from Pag, olive oil from Brač, capers and pickled samphire from the rocky coast. The Pazar — Split's covered fish market, working since the 1880s — supplies most of the city's restaurants and is the source for whole Adriatic fish (sea bass, dentex, bonito, John Dory) and small pelagics (sardines, anchovies). The adjacent green market handles seasonal produce: in summer that means tomatoes, peppers, figs, watermelon and Pelješac wine grapes from family producers. The yachting season runs May through October, with peak demand from mid-June to early September. Provisioning suppliers in Split typically handle same-day delivery for fresh items ordered before late morning, and 24 to 48 hours for full provisioning runs including wine, charcuterie and dry stores. Several agents also coordinate onward deliveries to yachts already at anchor in Brač, Hvar and Vis.
