Çeşme Marina sits on the western tip of the Çeşme peninsula opposite the Greek island of Chios (12 nautical miles west, with daily ferry service), with 400 berths in the IGY-managed marina opened in 2010. Çeşme is the principal Aegean Turkish yacht hub and the polished İzmir-side resort destination — the historic Genoese-and-Ottoman Çeşme Castle (1508) dominates the town, and the iconic Alaçatı village (12 km east, the windsurfing capital of the Aegean) sits behind. The marina is the natural Aegean Turkish base for charters cruising the eastern Aegean and crossing to the Greek Chios-Samos-Kos circuit.
